About This Access Site
Pyramid Lake Vaquero offers a convenient boat launch site for accessing the scenic waters of Pyramid Lake. Located in Los Angeles County, California, this facility is part of the larger Pyramid Lake recreation area managed by the U.S. Forest Service.

The boat ramp provides easy access to the lake for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. It features an 8-lane paved launch area, making it suitable for multiple craft to load and unload simultaneously. Nearby amenities include picnic tables, flush toilets, and an accessible fishing pier. Visitors should note that fishing from the docks or launch ramp itself is prohibited.

Pyramid Lake is a sizable reservoir, formed by the Pyramid Dam, that provides a range of recreational opportunities. The lake is fed by water diverted from the Feather River in Northern California, creating a peaceful inland setting surrounded by mountains. Paddlers and boaters can enjoy the calm, placid waters of the lake, making it a popular destination for various non-motorized and motorized watercraft activities.
