Quilcene Marina offers convenient boat launch access to Quilcene Bay and Hood Canal in Jefferson County. The facility features a boat ramp located at the south end of the parking lot at 1731 Linger Longer Road. From Highway 101 north of Quilcene, turn left at the Whistling Oyster Tavern onto Linger Longer Road and follow it approximately 1.5 miles to the marina. The ramp provides adequate access to marina floats for temporary tie-ups while launching or retrieving boats, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats.
This location serves as a good starting point for exploring Quilcene Bay's sheltered waters and accessing Hood Canal. Note that West Quilcene Bay is accessible by boat only. The marina is situated on the west side of Quilcene Bay, south of Port Townsend and the Hood Canal Bridge. Falls View Campground is available nearby for those planning an extended visit. Be aware that single-family residential properties are located adjacent to the Port's property on both the north and south sides.
