Rainey Bridge provides boat launch access to the Teton River near Twin Forks in Teton County. To reach the site, travel west from Driggs on Bates Road for approximately 6 miles, then turn right onto 6000 W at the black mailbox and head north for 2 miles. Turn right onto W 2000 N (a washboard dirt road) and continue for half a mile to the large parking area and boat ramp. The site features adequate parking for vehicle and trailer access.
This access point is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats launching onto the Teton River. Paddlers should note that typical float times to downstream access points vary—expect approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours to Cache Bridge. The Teton River in this area is a moderate-sized stream popular for recreational boating during appropriate water levels. Before launching, confirm current river conditions and water flow, as Idaho rivers can fluctuate seasonally.
