Range Line Lake is a 129-acre public access lake located near Wabeno in Forest County, Wisconsin. The site features a public boat ramp suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. With a maximum depth of 28 feet and low water clarity, the lake supports a diverse fishery including musky, northern pike, walleye, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and panfish—making it an attractive destination for both paddlers and anglers.
The access site is conveniently located near two campground options within 10 miles: Bear Lake Campground and Richardson Lake Campground (both reservable), making it easy to plan a multi-day paddling trip in the area. Paddlers should be prepared for the lake's low water clarity when planning their visit. The ramp provides straightforward vehicle and boat access for launching, though visitors are advised to contact local Forest County resources for current conditions, any seasonal restrictions, or additional amenities available at the site.
