Located in Moravia near the Chariton River and Rathbun Lake in southern Iowa, this boat ramp provides convenient access to the 11,000-acre Rathbun Lake recreation area. The marina facility offers a concrete boat ramp along with docking facilities, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. On-site amenities include flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, and a dump station for boaters.
The surrounding area provides excellent opportunities for paddling and fishing in the gently rolling hills of the Chariton River Valley. Wildlife viewing is common, with bald eagles, white-tailed deer, Canada geese, and wild turkey frequently spotted in the area.
