Located in Mystic near the Chariton River and Rathbun Lake in southern Iowa, this access point offers a concrete boat ramp and marina facility for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site provides convenient access to the 11,000-acre Rathbun Lake, situated in the gently rolling hills of the Chariton River Valley. On-site amenities include a boat ramp, dock, marina, docking facilities, and a nearby bait shop, making it well-suited for both day trips and extended outings.

The facility offers typical recreation area infrastructure with flush toilets, showers, drinking water, dump stations, and a playground. This makes it a comfortable base for paddlers and boaters planning to explore the lake or access the Chariton River system.
