About This Access Site
Ray's Lake Landing is a boat ramp access site located on the Fishpond Drain inlet to Lake Seminole in Seminole County, Georgia. The ramp is situated within the Rays Lake Park, a campground managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

This access point provides an ideal launch for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats to explore the sheltered waters of the Fishpond Drain and access the main body of Lake Seminole. Lake Seminole is a large reservoir known for its excellent freshwater fishing opportunities, with abundant cover provided by submerged stumps and vegetation. The launch area includes paved parking and a concrete boat ramp suitable for trailered watercraft.

Paddlers and boaters should be aware that the Fishpond Drain can be narrow and shallow in sections, requiring careful navigation. Additionally, the open waters of Lake Seminole can experience significant wind and wave action, so caution is advised for smaller craft. Anglers and recreational users will find a variety of amenities nearby at the Rays Lake Park, including campsites, picnic areas, and hiking trails.
