Red Cove Camp

Red Cove Camp offers a well-maintained two-lane concrete boat ramp on Medina Lake near the Medina Dam in Mico, Texas. The facility provides ample parking and easy access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Note that the ramp is usable when lake levels are at 30 feet or above, so water conditions should be checked before visiting, especially during dry periods.

In addition to the boat ramp, Red Cove Cafe & Marina operates on-site facilities including 50 covered boat slips of varying sizes, making it a convenient hub for water recreation on Medina Lake. The location on the southern portion of the lake near Medina Dam provides good access to both the lake and the Medina River. Be sure to clean, drain, and dry your boat before and after use to prevent the spread of invasive species.
