Redlands Recreation Area on Lake Oconee offers easy access to this scenic Georgia reservoir for paddlers and boaters. The site features three paved boat ramps, providing convenient launch points for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized watercraft.

Lake Oconee is a 19,050-acre impoundment of the Oconee River, known for its calm, navigable waters and scenic wooded shorelines. This area of the Oconee National Forest is a popular destination for fishing, swimming, and other water sports. The Redlands Recreation Area provides access to these activities, along with picnicking facilities for visitors to enjoy.

The recreation area is managed by the U.S. Forest Service and requires an activity pass for use. Reservations can be made through Recreation.gov.
