Reeves Creek provides convenient access to Lake Selmac, Josephine County's only lake, located near Selma in southern Oregon. The ramp is situated within Lake Selmac County Park and is easily accessible via Highway 199 south from I-5 (Exit 55), followed by a short drive on Lakeshore Drive. The facility includes vault toilets and is adjacent to Selmac Campground, which offers lakeshore tent sites for those planning an overnight trip.
Lake Selmac is a popular destination for a variety of water activities including boating, fishing for rainbow trout, bass, and bluegill, and paddling. The lake is surrounded by nature trails and bird-watching opportunities, making it an excellent spot for a full day of outdoor recreation. Anglers and boaters should note that the lake has non-native aquatic vegetation; Oregon Parks and Recreation requests that boaters remove as much vegetation as possible before leaving the ramp and thoroughly drain and dry their vessels before visiting other waterways to help prevent the spread of invasive species.
