About This Access Site
Rhoden Cove Landing is a hand-launch access point on the southeastern portion of Lake Jackson in Leon County, near Tallahassee, Florida. This facility is specifically designed for paddlecraft—canoes and kayaks only—and does not have a motorized boat ramp. The landing receives relatively light use, making it a quieter option for paddlers looking to explore this freshwater lake.

The site offers basic amenities including a shady picnic area with grills, paved parking spots, and open grass space. However, there are no restroom facilities on-site. Note that vehicle gates currently restrict ramp access during certain times, so it's best to contact Leon County Parks at 850.606.1470 before your visit. Lake Jackson is accessible from Rhoden Cove Road near Meridian Road and Fords Arm, making this a convenient launch point for exploring the southeastern section of the lake.
