About This Access Site
Located off PA Route 390 in Promised Land State Park near Greentown, this well-maintained boat launch provides excellent access to Promised Land Lake and Big Inlet. The facility features two concrete ramps with a center launch float, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. A single day-use dock, paved parking lot, and ADA-accessible facilities are available on-site, along with restroom facilities and a grassy picnic area.

Before launching, note that a Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission launching permit or state parks mooring permit is required. Electric motorboats are available for rent through the boat concession if you don't have your own vessel. The site is situated within Promised Land State Park in Pennsylvania's Appalachian Mountains, offering scenic paddling opportunities on the lake.
