Rigby Lake (also known as Jefferson County Lake) offers a convenient boat ramp for non-motorized watercraft located about 12 miles south of Rexburg, just off the North Rigby exit on US-20. The ramp provides easy access to this calm, family-friendly lake ideal for kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding. Day-use fees are $6 per vehicle, with additional charges for pets ($2). The lake entrance fee is included in this daily rate.
The access area is well-developed with plenty of amenities to support a full day on the water. Facilities include sandy beaches, restrooms, picnic areas with both first-come-first-served and reservable shelters, a playground, walking trails, and 50 campsites with water and electric hookups for those wanting to stay overnight.
