Ringgold Wildlife Area

The Ringgold Wildlife Area offers a public boat ramp providing access to the Grand River Wildlife Unit in southeastern Iowa. Located approximately 6 miles east of Mount Ayr, the ramp is reached by traveling 8 miles south on County Highway P64, then 1 mile west on a gravel road. The access area includes parking and is situated within the Grand River Wildlife Unit managed by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.

This facility is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters looking to explore the Ringgold County area's waterways. As a state wildlife area access point, the ramp is free to use.
