River Junction Boat Ramp

River Junction Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the Iowa River near LoneTree in Johnson County. Located at a 12-acre Johnson County Conservation Board park, the ramp offers a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The site is situated approximately 1.5 miles downstream from Pechman Access, making it a useful take-out point for multi-day paddles or a starting point for day trips on the Iowa River Water Trail.

The access area includes restrooms and primitive campsites along the riverbank, making it suitable for overnight trips. Anglers also frequent the site for shoreline fishing.
