River Runner Access

**Location & Facilities:** River Runner Access is a 22-acre river access area located in Concordia Township near West Bend in Palo Alto County. The site features a single-lane concrete boat ramp with an attached boat dock and adequate parking with maneuvering areas, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats.

**Des Moines River Access:** This access point serves the Des Moines River, which was designated as a state watertrail in 2009. The river corridor features approximately 38 miles of paddling distance with 8 boat ramps total, allowing for flexible trip planning.
