About This Access Site
The River View Drive boat ramp provides convenient river access to the White River in Saint Charles, Arkansas. Located about 15 river miles downstream from Dam 1 at Batesville, this ramp is a great option for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters exploring this major Ozark river.

The White River is a substantial waterway, spanning over 1,000 miles and draining nearly 27,000 square miles. At this location, the river has an average flow of over 34,800 cubic feet per second and an average gradient of 7.4 feet per mile, creating conditions suitable for both leisurely floats and more adventurous paddling. The ramp sits at the base of the River View Drive bridge, with a large parking area nearby.

This access point is situated in a scenic, rural stretch of the White River, about a 15-minute drive from the town of Batesville. Boaters and paddlers can enjoy the beautiful Ozark scenery and diverse wildlife of the Dale Bumpers White River National Wildlife Refuge located upstream and downstream of the ramp.
