Located in Oak Hill along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, Riverbreeze Park is a free, county-operated access point managed by Volusia County. The facility features a 4-lane boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels, making it a reliable launch site for exploring the interconnected waters of Indian River Lagoon, Bissette Bay, and Mosquito Lagoon. The 37-acre park also offers amenities including restrooms, picnic pavilions, benches, a fishing pier, and shaded areas—helpful for paddlers preparing for their trips or taking breaks.
This is an ideal access point for exploring one of Florida's most ecologically rich coastal areas. From here, paddlers can access the calm, protected waters of the Intracoastal Waterway system and venture into Mosquito Lagoon, known for its natural beauty and proximity to Canaveral National Seashore. The park's setting between US 1 and the waterway provides convenient parking and straightforward launch conditions. When using the ramp, please be respectful of the sensitive ecosystem by avoiding engine revving in vegetated areas and preventing fuel spills.
