**Location & Access:** Riverside Park in New Ulm offers a public carry-in access point to the Minnesota River. There is official parking available near the Riverside Park sign. This is an informal launch area rather than a developed ramp, making it well-suited for kayaks and canoes. As a public water access, it is open 24 hours unless otherwise posted, and there are no launch fees.

**Important Limitations:** Paddlers should be aware that downstream access is blocked by rocks, shallows, and rapids beyond this point. Plan your trip accordingly and avoid attempting to paddle downstream from this access. This site works best for upstream paddling on the Minnesota River or as a takeout point for those paddling from further upstream.
