About This Access Site
Riverside Park offers a convenient hand-launch facility for kayakers, canoeists, and small watercraft on the Wenatchee River in Cashmere. The park features "The Boat Slide," a dedicated launch area designed specifically for hand-launching boats such as kayaks, drift boats, and inflatable rafts, making it ideal for paddlers without trailers. The site includes parking, picnic areas, restrooms, and shelters for day-use visitors.

Before launching, paddlers should be aware that a Natural Investment Permit or a combination of a Discover Pass and daily launch permit is required ($7 daily launch permit available at the park). The site is well-suited for recreational paddling and provides access to the scenic Wenatchee River corridor. Plan your paddle accordingly based on current river conditions and flow rates, which can vary seasonally.
