Riverside Park Road

The Riverside Park Road access site provides a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters on the Little Red River in White County, Arkansas. This section of the river is considered a large, mid-sized waterway, with a total length of 171.86 miles, an elevation drop of 2,094 feet, and an average flow rate of 2,877.76 cubic feet per second.

The access site is located on the river's north bank, near the town of Bald Knob. While not an official boat ramp, the public land along the riverbank can be used to launch small, hand-carried watercraft. There is limited parking available near the Riverside Park sign. Paddlers and boaters should be aware that downstream access is limited due to rocks, shallows, and rapids. For easier access to the upper portion of the river, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains a public ramp next to the Federal Fish Hatchery.

This access point serves as a practical starting point for exploring the scenic Little Red River.
