About This Access Site
Robert G. Delaney Lake Conservation Area offers a boat ramp on a 102-acre lake surrounded by 40 acres of forest and woodland in Charleston, Mississippi County. The lake supports a healthy population of fish and wildlife, making it an excellent destination for kayakers, canoeists, and anglers. The site also features a fishing jetty for bank access.

**Access & Regulations:** The conservation area is located north of Charleston on Route N, then 0.5 mile west on County Road 222. Note that only electric motors are permitted on the lake—no gas motors, houseboats, airboats, or personal watercraft are allowed. Boats cannot be left unattended overnight. Float tubes are restricted to authorized fishing and hunting activities only. This is a good option for quiet paddling and wildlife viewing in a protected setting.
