Roche Harbor Resort offers a convenient boat launch and beach access in the heart of the San Juan Islands near Friday Harbor. The launch ramp is located just west of the main marina, with an adjacent small beach that's easily accessible from the ramp area. This is an excellent staging point for exploring the scenic waters of Roche Harbor and the surrounding San Juan Islands.
The resort provides full-service amenities including marina facilities, marine services, and multiple dining options on-site. Paddlers and boaters can take advantage of nearby recreation opportunities such as sea kayaking, whale watching, and hiking at San Juan Island National Historical Park and Turn Point, both known for excellent wildlife viewing and scenic vistas of Haro Strait. Note that during peak season months, slip availability is limited and operates on a waitlist basis (contact via VHF channel 78a with your vessel in the harbor). English Camp Visitor Center is located within 10 miles if you're interested in exploring additional historical sites in the area.
