Rock Creek Camp offers a public boat ramp on the north end of Possum Kingdom Lake, accommodating all boat types. The ramp is best accessed during higher lake levels and operates on an honor system. This is a private facility that generously allows public ramp access, so please respect the property and follow posted guidelines.
The camp is located at 201 Rock Creek Loop in Palo Pinto County and features excellent lake frontage—the property boasts the most privately-owned waterfront on the entire lake. The facility is well-maintained with amenities including cabins, RV sites, and tent camping available for rent if you're planning an extended visit. Free coffee is available at the main office, and the grounds offer a pleasant setting with shade and duck-feeding opportunities.
For paddlers and boaters, note that water levels can affect ramp accessibility, so conditions may vary seasonally. If you're planning to camp overnight or have questions about current ramp conditions, contact the facility directly before your visit.
