Rock Creek Northeast

**Location & Access**
Rock Creek Northeast is one of several boat ramps providing access to Rock Creek Lake near Kellogg in Jasper County, Iowa. This hard-surface ramp is conveniently located near the main park facilities and concession area, making it an easy launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

**Lake Conditions & Amenities**
Rock Creek Lake is a calm, scenic water body with a 5 mph speed limit enforced throughout, making it ideal for paddling and fishing. The lake features multiple fishing jetties, an accessible ADA fishing pier, and a beach area. The park offers boat and paddlesport rentals, bait, and snacks at the on-site concessionaire. An 8.5-mile non-paved trail loops the lake's perimeter for those interested in hiking before or after paddling.

**Facilities & Services**
The surrounding Rock Creek Park is well-developed with restrooms, picnic areas, playgrounds, and a large campground (offering both electric and non-electric sites). The northeast ramp provides good access to quality shorefishing opportunities. The south ramp features additional amenities including boat slip rentals (April 15–October 15) and universally accessible fishing options. This is a popular, well-maintained recreation area suitable for families and paddlers of all skill levels.
