Rocky Creek Park offers convenient access to Benbrook Lake and the Rocky Creek channel on the east side of the lake in Tarrant County, southwest of Fort Worth. The facility features three boat ramps with a total of five lanes and parking for approximately 50 vehicles. The primary double-lane ramp provides direct lake access with a courtesy dock, while the southern ramp leads into the Rocky Creek channel—offering paddlers options depending on whether they prefer open water or creek exploration. Note that ramp usability may be limited during low water periods.
The park is located on scenic rolling prairie landscape and is accessible via Granbury Road or McPherson Road (from US 377, take Road 1187 south, then turn left on County Road 1125 or FM 2435). Beyond the boat ramps, Rocky Creek Park offers picnicking, hiking, horseback trails, and fishing opportunities, making it a versatile recreation destination. Swimming is not permitted near the boat ramps. The park is part of the broader Benbrook Lake recreation area, which provides ample opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating on the main lake body.
