**Location & Access:** Rock Creek Road provides boat ramp access to Lake Texoma in Marshall County, Oklahoma, near the Oklahoma-Texas border. The ramp is located at Mill Creek Resort, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area. From Whitesboro, TX, take US 377 north and turn right on Rock Creek Road, continuing approximately 5 miles to reach the facility.
**What to Expect:** This access point serves as a launch site for the massive Lake Texoma, the twelfth largest lake in the U.S. by capacity. The lake itself is a major impoundment on the Red River, which is a substantial stream order 9 river system with strong average flow (68,237 cfs) and moderate current (5.93 ft/second). Paddlers and boaters should be prepared for a large, powerful water body. The nearby Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge offers additional recreational opportunities and scenic paddling in the area.
**Amenities & Planning:** Mill Creek Resort is a non-reservable day-use facility. For overnight camping, Bridgeview Camp Marina is located within 10 miles. Plan ahead by checking current conditions and weather, as the Red River's significant flow and the lake's size require appropriate boat handling skills and safety precautions.
