Rock Lake

**Location & Parking:** Rock Lake's public access is located on the east side of the lake near Markville in Pine County, Minnesota. The site features a gravel parking area with space for approximately 7-8 vehicles with trailers, providing convenient access for boaters and paddlers launching into the lake.

**Boat Launch & Facilities:** This boat ramp can accommodate most recreational boats up to 12-18 feet in length. The access point is suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and powerboat users. There are no launch fees at this site. The area is being actively maintained and developed to serve the boating community.

**Water Conditions:** Rock Lake is a small watershed lake (1,124 acres) with primarily agricultural land use surrounding it. Paddlers should expect generally poor water clarity, with an average visibility of approximately 3.3 feet based on recent water quality data. This makes it a good destination for casual paddling and fishing, though not ideal for activities requiring clear water visibility.
