Rocky Creek Park is a public boat launch on the east side of Benbrook Lake, located southwest of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. The facility features four concrete ramps with a total of five lanes, making it well-suited for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger boats. The ramp is 24 feet wide with a gentle slope that accommodates vessels of various sizes. Parking is available for 38 vehicles. Access the park via Old Granbury Road (1089) heading south, then turn west at the park sign, or alternatively via McPherson Road.
This recreation area offers more than just water access—the park includes picnic areas, hiking and horseback trails, and fishing opportunities. Keep in mind that water levels can fluctuate seasonally, and the ramp may be unusable during periods of low water. Nearby camping is available at Mustang Bear Creek Campground, about 10 miles away. Rocky Creek Park serves as a good jumping-off point for exploring Benbrook Lake, which spreads across scenic rolling hills and prairie meadows in the region.
