The Rookery Bay Primitive Boat Launch is a hand-launch access point located on Shell Island Road, approximately 3 miles south of the Collier Boulevard intersection in Naples. This facility provides paddlers and small boaters direct access to the pristine mangrove-fringed waterways of Rookery Bay, part of the larger Ten Thousand Islands ecosystem. **Note:** Parking is limited at this primitive launch site; the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center (300 Tower Road) offers more extensive parking and visitor amenities if needed.
