Roosevelt Lake - 3 is a boat ramp access point located in the Tonto Basin near Roosevelt, Arizona, providing entry to the Salt River arm of Roosevelt Lake. The site is situated on the eastern side of the lake at an elevation of approximately 2,118 feet. This location offers convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the eastern portions of the lake, with nearby amenities including parking and restroom facilities.
The Salt River that feeds Roosevelt Lake is a significant waterway with an average flow of approximately 1,291 cubic feet per second and a major stream classification. Paddlers venturing upstream from this access point can expect to encounter noticeable river flow within about 5 miles. The area is known for excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, including osprey, herons, and various water birds.
