About This Access Site
The Roosevelt Lake boat ramp at Site 9 provides convenient access to the Salt River and Roosevelt Lake for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. Located along AZ 288 in Gila County, the turnoff is 1.5 miles north of the Salt River Bridge.

This site features a boat ramp and parking, making it a good option for launching small watercraft. It's situated on the eastern side of the lake, providing access to the upper reaches of the Salt River as it flows into Roosevelt Lake. At an elevation of 2,118 feet, paddlers can expect a mix of flatwater and mild current, depending on how far up the river they venture.
