About This Access Site
Rose Valley Lake is a 389-acre reservoir in Lycoming County, PA, offering three public boat launch facilities with associated parking areas. The concrete ramps are well-maintained and approximately 20 feet wide, accommodating kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft. With parking for roughly 50 vehicles distributed across the access points, this is a convenient option for launching paddling trips on the lake.

Both electric and unpowered boats are permitted on Rose Valley Lake, making it ideal for kayakers and canoeists. Unpowered boats may be moored overnight from March 1 through November 30 if they display current registration. The lake's shoreline is notably accessible, with 68% within 305 feet of a road or launch area, and numerous pulloffs available for parking and fishing access along the water.

Rose Valley Lake is a popular destination year-round, particularly known among birders and paddlers. The multiple access points provide flexibility for launching, and the isolated location combined with good water access makes it a worthwhile stop for exploring Lycoming County's water resources.
