Rose Valley Lake is a 389-acre reservoir located in Trout Run, Lycoming County, offering three public boat launch facilities with associated parking areas. The concrete ramps are well-maintained and approximately 20 feet wide, accommodating kayaks, canoes, and various other watercraft. This access point is ideal for paddlers seeking a calm-water paddling experience on a sizeable lake with multiple launch options.
The lake permits both electric-powered and unpowered boats, making it suitable for kayakers and canoeists. Overnight mooring of unpowered boats is allowed from March 1 through November 30 for registered vessels. With three separate launch areas and parking for approximately 50 vehicles, this site provides convenient access for day trips and recreational paddling. The lake is managed by the PA Fish and Boat Commission and has become a popular destination for various water activities.
