Round Lake

Round Lake in Trempealeau is a well-developed access point ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats. The ramp features a paved concrete boat landing with a short access distance (less than 50 yards), making it convenient for launching. Parking is available in the adjacent lot, and pit toilets are on-site for visitor convenience.

The lake itself is a calm, inland body of water perfect for paddlers of all skill levels, including first-time boaters. Round Lake connects to a chain of lakes including Pike, Amik, and Turner lakes, offering extended paddling opportunities. The area is popular for both sunrise and sunset paddles and provides scenic views. A 3.5-mile hiking trail circles the lake for those interested in combining water and land recreation, and the site also serves as a trailhead for the Flambeau Motorized Trail.
