About This Access Site
Round Lake Boat Ramp offers a convenient, well-developed launch point for paddlers and boaters exploring this scenic chain-of-lakes system in Burnett County. The ramp features a paved concrete boat landing with a short access (less than 50 yards), making it easy to get your kayak or canoe into the water. Parking is available at the site, and pit toilets are provided for visitor convenience.

This is an excellent starting point for paddlers of all skill levels. Round Lake is ideal for beginner boaters and sunset/sunrise paddles, with calm conditions for exploring this small inland lake. More adventurous paddlers can access a chain of connected lakes—Pike, Amik, and Turner—offering expanded paddling opportunities. The site also serves as a trailhead for the Flambeau Motorized Trail, and the 3.5-mile Round Lake Trail nearby provides hiking opportunities with scenic views and wildlife watching.

Located near the Chequamegon National Forest and close to the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway, this access point puts you within reach of some of the region's finest paddling destinations. The area is well-suited for day trips and offers multiple ways to enjoy Wisconsin's natural beauty.
