**Location & Access:** This four-lane concrete boat ramp is located off Route U, approximately one-half mile west of the Highway 107 and Route U junction in Monroe County, Missouri. The ramp provides direct access to Mark Twain Lake, a large recreational impoundment offering excellent paddling and boating opportunities. Note that this facility does not have a lighted parking lot, so plan your launch and retrieval during daylight hours.
**Facilities & Nearby Resources:** The Route U ramp is one of two primary boat launch points at Mark Twain Lake. The area is part of a larger recreation complex that includes three campgrounds with full hookup and electric sites, making it convenient for multi-day paddling trips. If the Route U access is temporarily unavailable, an alternative four-lane concrete ramp is located approximately 2 miles north on Highway 107. Mark Twain Lake itself offers picturesque natural resources and modern recreational facilities suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.
