About This Access Site
Located approximately 12 miles south of Manning in Clarendon County, Rowland Subdivision offers convenient public access to Lake Marion. The facility features a two-lane boat ramp with a fixed courtesy dock and gravel parking accommodating 50 vehicles and trailers, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. To reach the ramp, take County Road 344 (Sam Nexsen Road) off County Road 345.

Lake Marion is a large reservoir in South Carolina's upper Atlantic Coastal Plain, offering extensive paddling opportunities across calm, open water. This access point is well-positioned for exploring the lake and is near the 15,000-acre Santee National Wildlife Refuge, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and scenic paddling.
