The Rush Lake East landing is a gravel boat ramp located at the northeast corner of Rush Lake in Nepeuskun Township, Winnebago County. To access the site from Pickett, take County Road M north for approximately five miles and turn left just before Waukau Creek crosses the highway. Follow the gravel road over the bridge down to the lake.
Rush Lake is a shallow freshwater lake covering approximately 2,729 acres with a maximum depth of 5 feet, making it well-suited for kayaking and canoeing. The lake is popular with anglers targeting northern pike and panfish, as well as waterfowl enthusiasts. This east-side landing appears to be less heavily used than other access points on the lake, potentially offering a more peaceful paddling experience. Multiple public access points are available around Rush Lake, giving paddlers flexibility in planning their routes.
