Saguaro - 3 is a public boat ramp and access site located on the picturesque Saguaro Lake in Maricopa County, Arizona. This is a popular launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats exploring the serene waters of the Salt River reservoir.
The ramp is well-maintained and suitable for a variety of non-motorized and motorized watercraft. Motorized boats are restricted to a 25 mph speed limit on the lake. Nearby recreation areas like the Goldfield Recreation Area provide additional opportunities for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing around the lake.
For paddlers, the east end of the lake tends to be more secluded, offering a peaceful escape. Boat-access camping is available at the east end as well. Visitors should be prepared for the arid desert environment and check conditions before heading out, as water levels and weather can vary. An access permit is required, available on-site or through Recreation.gov.
