Salem Lake Ramp

Salem Lake is a 107-acre impoundment located near Hodgenville in Larue County, offering a peaceful paddling destination for kayakers, canoeists, and electric motor boaters. The lake is restricted to paddle and electric-powered vessels only—no gas motors are permitted. The boat ramp is accessible via KY 210 northwest of Hodgenville; turn right on Highway 2217 (1.5 miles) and follow signs to the lake.

This is an ideal spot for beginners and families looking for calm water paddling. The smaller size of Salem Lake makes it manageable for novice paddlers, and the no-gas-motor policy keeps the water quiet and undisturbed.
