Salina Mud Flats

**Location & Access:** The Salina Mud Flats boat ramp is located on the east side of Salina in Mayes County at Highway 20 and Owen Walters Boulevard, providing free public access to Lake Hudson on the Neosho River. This is one of several launch points serving the reservoir.

**Facilities & Recreation:** This is a straightforward boat launch facility ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing the lake. Lake Hudson offers a range of amenities including restrooms, picnic areas, dump facilities, and designated campsites for those planning extended visits. The lake is popular with anglers targeting largemouth bass, spotted bass, sand bass, and white bass, with several tournaments held throughout the year. If you need additional services or prefer alternative ramps, other access points exist on the north end of Kerr Dam and at Ray's Cove.

**What to Expect:** As a mud flats area, paddlers should be aware that water levels and bottom conditions may vary seasonally. This location works well for launching recreational paddling and fishing trips on the reservoir. Plan ahead for parking and arrive early during peak recreational periods.
