About This Access Site
Saline Bay is a public boat ramp providing access to Lake Palestine on the Neches River in Smith County, near Dogwood City. The facility features a two-lane ramp suitable for all boat types and offers parking for up to 75 vehicles, making it a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats of various sizes.

**Directions:** From Tyler, take Texas 155 south toward Dogwood City, then turn east on CR 189W and proceed approximately 1/2 mile to the parking lot on the right. Lake Palestine is a large impoundment offering calm, flat-water paddling conditions ideal for recreational kayaking and canoeing. This access point on the west side of the lake provides a good starting point for exploring the broader lake system.
