Saluda Shoals Park offers a well-developed boat access point on the Saluda River in Lexington County, featuring two boat ramps, a dedicated canoe launch, and ample paved parking. The park includes a decked overlook and miles of scenic nature trails along the riverbank, making it a good option for combined paddling and hiking trips.

A small day-use fee is required for park access. The facility is open from dawn to dusk and does not permit overnight parking. This location serves as a convenient starting point for paddling downstream, with additional access points available further downstream near Gardendale.
