San Leandro Marina

The San Leandro Marina offers a convenient public boat launch ramp with access to San Francisco Bay's East Bay region. This facility features a 2-mile long entrance channel leading into the bay, allowing boaters and paddlers to easily access the wider waters of the San Francisco Estuary.

The launch ramp is located adjacent to the marina's 455 slips, providing ample parking for vehicles with trailers. Two boarding floats and carry-down walkways are available to assist with launching and loading kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats. The marina is open to the public, though specific hours and fees may apply.

Paddlers and boaters should be prepared for the sometimes windy and choppy conditions characteristic of the East Bay shoreline. The nearby Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site offer additional opportunities for outdoor recreation in the San Leandro area.
