About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** San Miguel Park is a Sabine River Authority site located approximately 3 miles south of Zwolle, Louisiana on Toledo Bend Reservoir. From Zwolle, take LA 475 to LA 191 south, then turn right onto Carters Ferry Road and continue 2.5 miles to San Miguel Road. Turn left and proceed 0.3 miles to the park entrance.

**Facilities & Conditions:** This is a no-frills access point with basic amenities—30 vehicle parking spaces and a boat ramp are available, but no water, restrooms, or other facilities are provided. The site is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and larger boats launching onto Toledo Bend Reservoir, a substantial impoundment offering varied paddling opportunities.

**Nearby Camping:** For overnight trips, Boles Field Campground is located about 10 miles away in nearby Texas, offering 20 first-come, first-served campsites with electric and water hookups for $6 per night (14-day limit). Be sure to check current water levels before launching, and use only this designated ramp for lake access.
