About This Access Site
Sandy Beach is one of three public boat launch sites on Miltona Lake in Douglas County, Minnesota. This state-owned access point provides a convenient launch facility for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the 12,000+ acre lake. The ramp can accommodate boats up to 12-18 feet, making it suitable for most recreational watercraft. There are no launch fees at this access site.

Miltona Lake offers diverse fishing opportunities for walleye, northern pike, largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, and bluegill, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers.
