About This Access Site
Santa Fe River Park provides boat ramp access to the Santa Fe River in Gilchrist County, located northwest of High Springs on US 27. The facility features a single launch ramp and parking area situated on the north side of the river, making it a convenient put-in point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this scenic waterway.

The Santa Fe River is known for its clear waters and gentle flow, making it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels. From this access point, paddlers can explore miles of relatively calm river corridor. Be aware that the ramp may experience varying conditions depending on water levels—during low water periods, a sandy beach area may provide an alternative hand-launch option for smaller craft. No alcohol is permitted in the park.

Note that this is a private enterprise facility with associated parking and launch fees. Before visiting, it's recommended to verify current conditions and fee information, as facilities and amenities may vary seasonally.
