The Santa Margarita Lake Marina & Store offers convenient boat access to Santa Margarita Lake, a scenic reservoir located in the rolling oak woodlands of San Luis Obispo County. The marina provides a public boat ramp, dock space for up to 40 boats, and a small store for supplies and rentals.
The boat ramp can accommodate small to medium-sized watercraft up to 24 feet in length. There are around 50 parking spaces available for vehicles with trailers. While the marina does not have boarding floats, there is a gradual carry-down walkway to the water's edge. The reservoir itself is popular for boating, fishing, and other water recreation.
For paddlers, Santa Margarita Lake provides a peaceful setting to explore by kayak or canoe. The marina may have rental boats available, and the lake's calm, protected waters make it well-suited for a relaxing day on the water. Anglers will find a variety of fish including bass, catfish, and crappie. The Santa Margarita Lake Recreation Area, managed by San Luis Obispo County Parks, offers additional amenities and recreation opportunities around the reservoir.
