About This Access Site
Sappington Bridge is a day-use-only state fishing access site on the Jefferson River near Three Forks, Montana. The launch features a gravel/river bottom ramp that provides easy access to the water, making it a convenient put-in point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this section of the river.

Paddlers should be aware that approximately one mile downstream from the bridge, there is a diversion dam that can create hazardous conditions for floaters. Plan your trip accordingly and scout conditions ahead of time if you're unfamiliar with this stretch. As a day-use-only facility, plan to complete your outing during daylight hours and check local regulations before launching.
